The environmentally-friendliness audit in the licensing procedure in accordance with the federal German pollution control act for a thermal waste treatment plant

The environmentally-friendliness audit extends the documents available for a pollution control statutory licensing procedure. The timescale of the licensing procedure is presented and described using as a concrete example a thermal w astetreatment plant applying the thermo-select process. The licence application for the construction and operation of the Karlsruhe thermo select p1ant is hemanalysed with reference to documents presented in accordance with the 9th Implementing Ordinance of the Federal German Pollution Control Act; tie documents specific to the environmentally-friendliness audit are described. In conclusion, proposals for asensible restriction of the documents for a pollution control statutory licensing procedure with the environmentally-friendliness audit are explained.
