The topics discussed in this meeting include establishing a reproducible method for the culture of primary equine corneal cells; UV-absorbing contact lenses mediate IB-induced damage to the anterior segment; the effect of intracranial tissue plasminogen activator (TPA) administration on short-term intraocular pressure (IOP) following pseudophakic cataract surgery in canine patients; a histological series of secondary uveal melanomas in dogs; efficacy and duration of proparacaine and tetracaine topical ophthalmic formulations on equine corneal sensitivity; the dark adaptation curve of the horse among others.
