The phosphate sorption capacity of the soil was determined by the method of 7 and 30 day incubation with increasing doses of P in the laboratory conditions. The changes in availability of the introduced phosphorus resulted from the soil liming were estimated parallel. The temporary accepted coefficients of P sorption established on the base of the soil pH, in the case of the acidic soils of loam fraction percentage > 35 percent and of the low initial P level do not allow to obtain the required equilibrated P concentration. The current requirements of the soil fertilization with phosphorus can be modified depending on the liming. The significant correlation was found between the phosphate sorption and the content of P-soluble in the soil, as well asits hydrolytic acidity, pH in KCl, V percent and reactive Al_(ox).
