摘要

Ideas which persist into today on copper-bearing ores and valleriite as extremely complex formations were based on their classification among non-metallic constituents. Copper-bearing ores were separated into 4 geological-technological groups according to the degree of serpentinization and the composition of host rocks. Valleriites are separated into magnesial, alumino magnesial, iron-bearing, manganese-iron, and calcium types. Using these classifications for ores and varieties of valleriite have caused serious problems in practice. In the process of collating the materials related to the prospecting and geological-technological mapping of valleriite ores, some of the problems raised in the geological and tchnological plan were resolved. Over 30 laboratory technological samples were used in the calculations as well as 100 samples with valleriite.
