With respect to some forms of sheet rolling, apart from requirements for a high level of mechanical properties, there should be a homogeneous distribution of these properties and textures in any cross section of metal. Using the variations in accumulated degrees of shearing strain K_(LAMBDA SIGMA) to optimize the systems of metal reduction for multipass rolling makes it possible to control the textural heterogeneity and variation in the mechanical properties of metal over the cross section of the rolled product [1, 2]. The parameter K_(LAMBDA SIGMA) can be determined by mathematical rolling models, plotted on a base of continuous kinematically possible (KP) velocity fields as the relationship between the maximum degree of shearing strain A to its minimum value in the cross section of the rolled product.
