摘要

Fruits of 2 longan cultivars, Shixia and Wuyuan (grown in Guangzhou, China), were stored at 1, 2.5 or 5deg C for 30 days. Disease was controlled in both cultivars at 1deg C, but chilling injury was observed on the skin of Wuyuan, and it increased rapidlyafter 20 days. Wuyuan appeared to be more chilling sensitive than Shixia, with an optimum storage temperature of 2.5deg C. Storage of Shixia at 1deg C under enhanced carbon dioxide (6-8%) and reduced oxygen (4-6%) concentrations gave the best disease control and fruit quality maintenance.
