Putting the delights of the rich Brazilian culture on one side this editor travelled quickly on to the Petrobras REVAP refinery in the city of Sao Jose dos Campos. There I met Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer Mr Mentzingen dos Santos to hear at first hand how Petrobras has successfully resolved valve problems in feedstock heater passes.
