GE Turns out Compressors in Oshkosh: The new Oshkosh compressor plant, and upgrades to the GE 10 gas turbines, were highlights of the recent GE Oil & Gas customer meeting

A group of over 120 assembled in Appleton, Wisconsin, U.S.A. on July 31 to hear a GE Oil & Gas review, presentations concerning the new Oshkosh, Wisconsin facilities (Figure 1), new technology developments, and technology for reliability, availability and maintainability. Included in the press information was a card/magnet with the 24-hour telephone number for GE Oil & Gas's new "single point of contact" for products and services, "from wellhead to consumer": 866-433-4963 (GE Fix Me). Whenever a GE Oil & Gas customer calls this number, with a problem in any GE product, someone in a GE facility on the other end of the line will look for a solution.
