New regulations permit B-doubles for first time in Argentina

Argentina - October 2015 saw two new regulations (Decree 918/2015 and 2/2015) come into effect that are intended to maximise the safe operation of the new double articulated semi-trailer, combinations (Bi-trains or B-doubles) that are now permitted to be operated in Argentina for the first time. The two new regulations support the new bi-train vehicle size dimension regulation presidential Decree 574/2014 of 18 months ago that increased the length and weight of permitted bi-train combinations to upwards of 30.25 metres in length and up to 75 tons of gross weight.
