Germany - Frigoblock Grosskopf GmbH of Essen has expanded the combination options of its FK 25i and FK 35i inverter refrigeration units with the possibility of connecting to additional remote evaporators for multiple-compartment refrigerated trucks with transverse partitions. Frigoblock says it has been continuously improvement the inverter control system as this is the key to gaining greater efficiencies in terms of energy consumption and power consumption. The inverter control system now also has greater functionality and greater control of all the different modules including the control of multi-temperature systems now with remote evaporators, which were not previously available. So the inverter control system can now control up to four temperature zones with either of the FK 25i or FK 35i inverter refrigeration unit with two or three evaporators in the host unit and up to two remote evaporators. These options, says Frigoblock, make it possible to provide parallel refrigeration of different longitudinal compartments at different temperatures.
