On 17 January battery specialist Johnson Controls unveiled a revitalisation of the Varta battery brand with a new logo, a new slogan, new product design and a completely revised online presence. The new look is being rolled out as part of the Europe-wide campaign with the aid of the "It all starts with Varta" strapline. According to the company Johnson Controls is investing in the future through the campaign. In a market that has undergone constant change over the years, the Varta brand is designed to come across as contemporary and innovative. The guiding principle embodied in the new strapline refers to the company's leading market position in the field of starter batteries - and harks back to the history of the name and the trust placed in it by customers and business partners alike.
