TransPro Profile: Gemma Heath

Gemma Heath has followed her childhood ambition and is building an interesting and rewarding career in civil engineering. When asked as a young girl what she intended to do when she got older, Gemma Heath would reply: "I want to build a bridge to France." Gemma, now 30, has yet to build her mega structure. She has stuck to her ambition in part though, as a senior civil engineer in Faber Maunsell's environment division and from this year, as an IHT Chartered Engineer.
