Consultant pushes driverless vehicles forward

Atkins is forging ahead with efforts to help position the UK at the forefront of connected and autonomous vehicle technology. Introduction of driverless vehicle technology is seen by consultant Atkins as a vital step on the path to developing a customer centric intelligent mobility system for the UK. The company is increasingly establishing itself as a primary thought leader in this field and is currently heading up a Government funded project in Bristol and South Gloucestershire to trial fully autonomous vehicles.
