摘要

The experiment was conducted to find out the effect of packaging and pre storage treatments on shelf life apple (Ma/us domestica) cv Royal Delicious. Among the packaging materials 1 % ventilation + internal polythene lining and 2% ventilation treatmentswere the best packages, and thus can be used to enhance the shelf life of apple fruits. Nimbecidine treatment was found most effective to enhance the shelf life of apple, which brings minimum changes in physico-chemical properties during long period of storage.
