摘要

NO_x storage-release and soot oxidation have been studied using strontium promoted zirconia with different surface areas. It was found that the amount of the adsorbed NO_x increases with the increase of the support surface and Sr concentration up to 20 wt% Sr. Introduction of platinum has no effect on the amount of NO_x stored, but improve soot oxidation due to recycling of NO to N02- A combination of oxidation catalyst with NO_x storage materials enables to lower the temperature of 20% soot conversion up to 100 °C in comparison with un-catalyzed soot oxidation.
