International Forum from TURKEY: Turkey hosts successful 14th International WAA Congress in 2012

The Turkish Society of Apheresis hosted the very successful 14th International Congress of the World Apheresis Association, September 13-15,2012. Co-Presidents, Professors Ali Unal and Robert Weinstein, on behalf of the TSA and the WAA respectively, welcomed delegates to the timeless city of Istanbul. The congress scientific program covered topics from all the different fields related to haemapheresis. The main parts of the program featured state-of-the-art lectures, evidence-based apheresis sessions, and satellite symposia covering information on the most up-to-date apheresis technologies and their clinical applications.
