Recognizing some very special people

Throughout the excitement and enthusiasm of "Industry Week" in Las Vegas, some very special people in my life and in the asociation's history will be recognized. This year, dealer leaders Larry Morgan and Terry Westhafer will be inducted into the TIA Hall of Fame. Francois Michelin, retired managing partner of Groupe Michelin, and Joe Esco, founder of Esco Tire Company of Oklahoma City, will be recognized in the Hall of Fame for their historical contributions. And, the 2008 Friend of the Industry recipient will be Harold Herzlich, President of Las Vegas-based Herzlich Consulting LLC and Technical Editor for Rubber and Plastics News.
