Dr Gary Lear is a Consultant Anaesthetist with City Hospitals Sunderland, and is Chairman of the RITA/ ARCP panel for the School of Anaesthesia in the Northern Deanery. He very kindly agreed to answer questions about what he does, and to provide insights into the challenges facing training in anaesthesia.
