Introduction The Northern Ugandan town of Gulu was a centre of activity for the notorious rebel group, the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) under the command of Joseph Kony until 2006 when the National army forced them back to the Congo and Southern Sudan. Over the years many children were captured and forced against their will to become soldiers sometimes after having had to kill their own parents.
