摘要

Assuming the pressure of compressed air inside a flask does not exceed the critical value during the opening of an impact valve, the theoretical motion equations of the opening of the impact valve in an air impact molding machine have beenobtained by means of gasdynamics. The effect of some important parameters on the opening of the impact valve has been analyzed by means of computer simulation. When the diameter of the exhaust pipe is the constant, the influence of the diameter (d{sub}2)of impact valve on the opening interval t{sub}02 is stronger than that on t{sub}01, especially when the diameter of exhaust pipe is small, t{sub}01 and t{sub}2 will decrease with increasing coefficient of flow. There is hardly influence of pressure ofcompressed air inside gas tank on the time interval t{sub}01 and t{sub}02. Eventally, the data may contribute to optimizing design of the impact valve.
