Firefly 4.2

Ever since Huck Finn was a boy the punt has been the backbone of river and wetland fishing. These days the punt lives on in a number of more sophisticated forms that make it a very appealing craft for weekend anglers. The Aussie Firefly 4.2 is the latest addition to the punt fraternity and combines the easy ride of a cathedral (tri-hull) and advanced fibreglass construction. This design evolved from an earlier successful fibreglass punt and includes a number of attractive features including raised bow and stern casting decks and non-skid floor. A moulded centre console is yet another sophisticated feature and helps keep crew weight central when underway.
