They're a long way from Darwin, but the Peron Islands provide fantastic fishing opportunity for Steve Hunt and his mates from down south. Ihad planned three weeks' fishing during the runoff in Darwin but due to an untimely breakdown on my outboard, Ihad to leave the trusty old trailer boat at home in South Australia. But all was not lost, a bit of lateral thinking saw me hastily organising trips with three very different charter operations and this snap decision soon turned to absolute gold. Over the coming months you will read about them all but for now we are heading beyond the Peron Islands.
