Bill entered the paint industry in 1956 as an apprentice with camrex paints in the uk,where he completed the london city & guilds advanced paint technology course in 1962.he emigrated to australia in 1970,to join paint industries at mortlake,nsw,moving later to anzol in dandenong,vic he then joined laporte,initially in melbourne,then transferred to W.A.in 1974.
