Sherwood Forest ploughing match just keeps raising the standards, writes Peter Squires. Tractors and lorries started descending before light on the tiny hamlet of Budby near Edwinstowe in Nottinghamshire on November 30. They came from all corners of the country. Leon Vanstone was there again, travelling around 360 miles from Launceston in Cornwall to compete in the 41-strong open mounted class with his International B-250 and B12 plough, while John Lewis again travelled up from Wales to take part with his B-250/Ransomes plough.
