摘要

Structural mechanics works carried out in the domain of high temperature design for the PFBR are reviewed. The latest ides of RCC-MR (1993) which is the recommended code for PFBR are presented with a particular emphasis on high cycle fatigue damage under thermal striping and vibration including the interaction of HCF and LCF, weld design rules for 9Cr-1Mo, creep-fatigue design of components which crack like defects, assessment of ratchetting. In addition, some important results of analyses carried out for PFBR in compliance with the RCC-MR (1993) for establishing the thermal striping limits UNI thermal ratchetting are presented. Finally a list of on-going R&D activities towards validation of structural design as well as further material data required to be generated for the high temperature design are highlighted
