AUSTRALIA: Murray Zircon Reconfigures the Mindarie Mining Venture

Murray Zircon Pty. Ltd. (headquartered in Adelaide) was established in June 2011 to reconfigure the Mindarie mineral sands venture in South Australia. Mindarie is located about 150 km east of Adelaide, at the western edge of the Murray Basin region. The reconfiguration project was essentially completed in December 2012, with the commissioning of the wet concentrator. Mining and processing operations reached more or less steady-state nameplate capacity by October 2013.
