SPAIN: Huntsman Restarts Huelva Pigment Plant Five Months Earlier Than Planned

Huntsman has restarted TiO2 pigment production at its Palos de la Frontera plant (near Huelva in the southwestern province of Andalusia) about five months earlier than previously envisaged.The sulfate-route plant, with a nameplate capacity of 80,000 t.p.a., was idled at the end of June 2009 and at that time Huntsman had announced that the plant would remain closed until the end of June 2010.
