KRONOS:105 Days' Sales in Inventory

For the first nine months of this year,pigment sales have been about 7% lower than last year-the aggregate total being 355,000 tonnes,compared against 382,000 tonnes.Despite the downturn in sales,Kronos has continued to run its plants at or near full capacity,so the company's global pigment inventories increased by 16,000 tonnes between end-December 2004 and end-September 2005.
