The amalgamation of Eramet's ilmenite smelter, using cheap Norwegian hydroelectric power, with MDL's new mining venture in West Africa, which will generate substantial quantities of by-product ilmenite - this was described by Mr Jeff Williams (former Managing Director of MDL) as: "An absolute win-win for both parties."
