Zaklady Chemiczne Police (aka Zachem Police, ZChP) runs a large chemical complex at Police (20 km north of Szczecin on the Baltic Sea), with about 1 million t.p.a. of sulfuric acid capacity as the centrepiece, feeding phosphoric acid and fertiliser plants, as well as a 45,000 t.p.a. sulfate-route TiO2 pigment plant.
