Dattilo 'Resigns' After Cooper Drops 26M Tom Dattilo,chairman,president and CEO of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.,resigned Aug.3 to"pursue another opportunity,"according to the company The resignation came the same morning that Cooper announced a first-half 2006 net loss of 26 million against sales of 1.2 billion,which were up 19% vs.the same period last year.For most of the last year,Cooper's financial situation has been a focal point for the investment community.The Findlay Ohio,tire-maker has seen its stock price run from a high of 18.53 to a low of 8.93 over the last 52 weeks.Cooper stock closed at 9.95 a share the night before Dattilos departure was announced,then fell some 70 cents after the financial results were revealed.
