Dog-gone changes Don's Tire owner dumped laundromat, dog grooming businesses, expands beyond used tires

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio—Don's Tire Center has stood strong through economic hardships and has seen various changes throughout its 37 years in business, still surviving at its original location in Middletown. What started as a used tire store, opened by Don Banks in 1975, has grown up into a full-service tire shop. Eddie Sorrell, current owner, bought the establishment in January 2004, and wanted to expand the services of the used tire shop.
