摘要

Preliminary IR spectroscopic observation of the nu(s) band of complexed HCl in a supersonic jet expansion of dimethyl ether-hydrogen chloride seeded with argon is presented. It is characterized by a structureless, asymmetric absorption, 25 cm(-1) full-width at half-maximum, centered at 2460 cm(-1). Its assignment to the fundamental transition agrees with the assignment initially proposed by Lassegues and Huong [Chem. Phys. Lett. 17 (1972) 444] and allows a re-examination in more detail of the gas cell data for both DME:HCl and DCl dimers. [References: 36]
