Purpose: To explore gas-phase fragmentation reactions of U~(VI)O_2~(2+) complexes of acetone (aco) and dimethyl sulfoxide (dmso) by collisionally induced dissociation (CID) and infrared photodissociation (IRMPD) in the low-water environment of a linear ion trap (LIT) mass spectrometer.
