Goodyear, Bridgestone file petitions to defer tire recalls

WASHINGTON—Bridgestone Americas and Goodyear have filed petitions with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), asking for a finding of inconsequential non- com-pliance because of tire mold labeling errors.
