摘要

Polymerase chain reaction-sequence-based typing (PCR-SBT) is the standard technique employed for human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation patients and donors at Children's Memorial Hospital. The novel allele was identified in a donor specimen obtained from the German hematopoietic stem cell regis- try. HLA-A*0101 is a relatively common allele in Caucasoid populations with an average frequency of 14.07 (1). The HLA alleles of the donor were typed as the novel A*010104, A*0201, B*180101, B*510101, Cw*0701, Cw*0702, DRBl*0701,DRBl*1101, DQBl*0202, and DQBl*030101.
