Identification of a new HLA-A*2464 variant in the Singapore Chinese population.

Human leukocyte antigen-A (HLA-A) genes are located in the class I region of the major histocom-patibility complex. Improvements in The data have been submitted to the IMGT/HLA database, and the name A*2464 has been officially assigned by the WHO Nomenclature Committee in May 2006. This follows the agreed policy that subject to the conditions stated in the most recent Nomenclature Report (2), names will be assigned to new sequences as they are identified. The nucleotide sequence is available in the GenBank Nucleotide Sequence Database under the accession number DQ523225.
