Eleven years ago Jordan Lumber & I Supply purchased the southern pine I sawmill operation at Barnesville, Ga. from Weyerhaeuser Co. The mill complemented Jordan's home base sawmill operation at Mt. Gilead, NC. Long known for its machinery innovationsat Mt. Gilead, Jordan Lumber quickly set about revamping the Barnesville sawmill and in the past 11 years has swept through the mill with multiple upgrades.
