China's Exports Of Ferro-Alloys In Jan. - Nov. 2004 Increased By 17 percent Compared To Same Period 2003

According to the customs-statistics released in China, the total quantity of ferro-alloys exported from China in January - November of 2004 was 1,875,000 tons as an increase of 17.1 percent compared with that ( 1,602,000 tons ) in the same period of 2003. Reflecting a sharp rise of prices for ferro-alloys in the international market, the exportable prices of Chinese ferro-alloys have risen and the exports of Chinese ferro-alloys have been kept on a favorable tone from the beginning of 2004. The total quantity of ferro-alloys exported from China in January - November of 2004 had already exceeded that exported from China in the calender year ( January - December ) of 2003. The quantities of ferro-alloys exported from China in January - November of 2004 were as per the table attached hereto.
