World Production Of Ferro-Chrome In CY 2006 Increased On Basic Tone

According to the statistical data of ferro-chrome surveyed by ICDA ( International Chrome Development Association ), the quantities ( on material base ) of high carbon ferro-chrome and low carbon ferro-chrome produced in the world for the calendar year ( January - December ) of 2006 were as per the tables (A) and (B) attached hereto. Namely, the ferro-chrome industry of the world produced 6,312,000 tons of high carbon ferro-chrome in the calendar year of 2006, which increased by 7.7 percent compared with that ( 5,858,000 tons ) in the preceding year of 2005, and also 659,000 tons of low carbon ferro-chrome in 2006, having increased by 10.4 percent compared to that ( 597,000 tons ) in 2005.
