Imports And Exports Of Ferro-Chrome By China In CY 2009- Imports Increased By 2 Times, Exports Decreased By 50%, Imports Of High Carbon FeCr Recorded Highest

According to the customs-statistics released in China, the quantities ( on material base ) of ferro-chrome imported and exported by China in the calender year ( January - December ) of 2009 as well as in a single month of December were as per the tables attached hereto. Namely, China suddenly increased their imports of high carbon ferro-chrome from 2007 and decreased somewhat in 2008 but turned to increase again their imports of high carbon material in 2009. On the contrary, China decreased their exports of all ferro-chrome in 2009 and also reduced their imports of low carbon ferro-chrome in 2009.
