Evraz, a major steel company in Russia, produced 23,686 tons of vanadium on content base in the calendar year ( January - December ) of 2007 at the plants in Russia, South Africa and the USA, which consisted of <> salable vanadium slag : 11,752 tons and <> ferro-vanadium : 11,934 tons ( including some of chemical grade ).
