Sonoma Mine In Queensland May Start Metallurgical Coal Export Within This Year

Metallurgical coal export from new coal mine Sonoma in Queensland, Australia, is expected to be commenced within this year if earlier. At Sonoma coal mine currently construction works of coal handing and preparation plant (CHPP) are reaching the final stage and are to be completed within November. The CHPP is expected to launch commercial operation in December after trial operations and as a result metallurgical coal export is expected to be launched at the end of this year or early next year.
