Lurgi to build US90m methanol plant in China

Lurgi has signed a contract to build a methanol plant in the Chinese province of Hainan.The order is worth approximately US90m and has been awarded by CNOOC-Kingboard Chemical,a joint venture between the Chinese National Offshore Oil Company,the Hong Kong-based Kingboard Chemical Holdings and the China National Technical Import and Export Corporation.
