SIG Combibloc to Double Liquid Food Biz in U.K.

SIG Combibloc aims to double the size of its liquid food business in the U.K. within the next three years, the company says. Managing director Malcolm Allum says most of SIG's business in the U.K. is from the milk and juice sector. New technology, the viability of cartons as an alternative package and greater acceptance by retailers are combing to support the growth of the liquid food market over the next three years, Allum says.
