On May 18,2005 Rhodia Polyamide has celebrated the groundbreaking of its new engineering plastics compounding facility at its Shanghai site in China.This new facility reinforces Rhodia Polyamide's commitment to growth in China and more generally in Asia.It is the second plant built in Asia by the company since 2003,bringing the company's Asian production up to 80 000 t/a.
