The capacity of acetone in China has reached 361 000 t/a today.The output was 247 000 tons in 2004,an increase of 38.0% over the previous year.The output using the cumin process accounted for 91% of the total.The operating rate of the 4 cumin-process acetone units with the co-production of phenol was more than 100%.
