P&G Sues ShaveLogic, Ex-Gillette Employees For Alleged IP Violations

Procter & Gamble Co. is seeking injunctive measures against Dallas-based wet-shaving company Shave-Logic and fourformer Gillette employees, alleging intellectual property infringements, in a suit filed in Suffolk Superior Court in Boston. Announced Jan. 16, P&G claims the ex-employees, who reportedly worked in an R&D capacity at Gillette before being hired or retained by ShaveLogic, breached contracts with the brand by sharing its highly confidential information and trade secrets with the prospective competitor for use in developing products. P&G seeks an injunction and a jury trial to determine damages and other relief.
