California's Office of Administrative Law announces Aug. 28 that it has approved the final version of the Department of Toxic Substances Control's Safer Consumer Products regulation. The regulation, which will go into effect Oct. 1, aims to identify and prioritize chemicals of concern in consumer products with a view toward their replacement with safe alternatives.
