CFSAN FY 2007 Budget Funds Cosmetics Activities At 'Reduced Level'

Heightened cooperation and collaboration among cosmetics industry stakeholders and FDA will help offset the impact of reduced funding at the Center for Food Safety & Applied Nutrition,according to CFSAN Director Robert Brackett,PhD.Brackett addressed industry reps during a Cosmetic,Toiletry and Fragrance Association "Meet the Regulators" conference Feb.1 in Washington,D.C.,five days prior to the release of President Bush's FY 2007 budget request.
